Cognithix Terms of Service
1. About the service
Cognithix is an educational app focused on English, Verbal Reasoning (VR), and Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR) practice.
2. Eligibility and parental responsibility
- You must be 18+ to create and manage a parent account
- You are responsible for supervising any child using your account
- You must provide accurate account information
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial educational use.
4. Payments and purchases
Payments are processed by Apple. Pricing, billing, refunds, and restore-purchase behavior are governed by Apple policies and your App Store region.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or exploit the app commercially
- Attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts
- Use the app in a way that disrupts service integrity
6. Educational disclaimer
Cognithix is a learning aid and practice platform. It does not guarantee specific exam outcomes, school admissions, or performance improvements.
7. Intellectual property
App content, software, branding, graphics, and materials are owned by or licensed to Cognithix and protected by intellectual property laws.
8. Privacy
Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms. Continued use after updates means you accept revised Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms or misuse of the service.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
